Our Pick For The Best Atlanta Airport Restaurants & Restaurants Near Atlanta Airport
Compiling a list of the top 10 best Atlanta Airport restaurants (and restaurants near Atlanta Airport) was no easy task. Not only is Atlanta well-known for having an incredible selection of top-quality restaurants, but they have an almost unlimited selection available from right inside the airport. Though Atlanta is much more than its enormous airport, sometimes travel plans don't allow for a proper and thorough visit. If that's the case, you owe it to yourself to make the most of the time you have. Even if all the time you have in Atlanta is just a couple hours stopover, make sure you grab a bite to eat. Check out any of the following restaurants and you won't regret it.
Paschal's was rated best fried chicken in Georgia with good reason. They don't mess around with perfection and we love their commitment to the southern classics. You can get the best taste of Atlanta food, without even leaving the airport. It goes without saying that you must try the fried chicken, but we also recommend the catfish.
Everyone likes pizza. It's impossible to resist. Thankfully, there is an incredible pizza (and more) spot right inside the ATL Airport, even voted in the top 3 pizzerias in the USA. There is no "wrong" choice for what to eat, but we recommend trying the Wild Mushroom Truffle pizza for something a little special.
When you're flying through Atlanta, a stop at Grindhouse Killer is a must. Their main dish is burgers, and that's all they need, really. You can choose your own toppings or get one of their signatures. The favorite is, of course, the "Grindhouse Style" burger. Burgers are made from your choice of beef, turkey, or beans and quinoa, so no matter your diet, you can grab a burger.
You can't go wrong with Tex-Mex/Mexican classics like quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. That's why we love the Original El Taco in the Atlanta Airport. It's convenient, consistent, and delicious. Grab a "Big Boss Burrito" on a stopover with ease.
Just to the Northeast of the airport is our favorite of the restaurants near Atlanta Airport, the Feed Store. The Urban Foodie Feed Store is your perfect dining choice when you're craving old fashioned southern cooking reimagined for fast-paced city life.
We love Brake Pad, not only for its fantastic and classic food, but also for the pleasing ambiance. It's located a few minutes from Atlanta Airport in historic college park, and worth a visit.
Tony Morrow's Real Pit BBQ offers delectable bbq in a more private and quaint venue -- give it a try when you're craving simple, delicious grub. Morrow was chef for the Pecan, a favorite Atlanta restaurant that closed recently. Morrow likes to keep the businesses small, so you won't find much information on this spot.
We love the Manchester Arms for its perfect blend of food and setting. Like our other favorite restaurants near Atlanta Airport, this spot is in historic college park and the setting perfectly complements the English pub fare culinary offering. Their fish and chips are the best around, so grab a plate while you're there.
You wouldn't necessarily think "pho" when in Atlanta, but Atlanta has a very worldly selection of food. Pho Dai Loi makes our list because of its perfectly authentic and delicious menu. If you've never had pho, then you're in for a treat.
