Atlanta is surprisingly a great spot for getting outdoors. Check out the Atlanta BeltLine and go for a run through the greenery. The Atlanta BeltLine is a perfect place to connect with nature. The BeltLine is currently under development as a multi-use trail, previously a railway corridor, winding around the core of the city. You can find bicycle, segway, and walking tours here, or just head off on your own for a breath-taking hike. Be careful as some areas are still under development, but can be traversed.

There are also a number of fantastic bicycle tours, all across Atlanta. You can take a 3-hour, 10 mile tour of all the best parts of the city that you can't see while driving, or wouldn't have time to see walking.
